That marks the end of Part 1. That was pretty good. As a historical resource, the book isn't great. It overly romanticizes Japanese culture and suffers from several historical myths that are repeated.
It took a minute to get used to the writing style, but once I did I found it incredibly fun- if melodramatic and fantastical.
