Here we go! Moving on to my next indie epic fantasy series and it’s one with all sorts of rave reviews. I am rather pumped to be reading this and enjoyed the first few chapters. Decided to go with this instead of The Fall first which seems a polarizing choice.

Well, took a bit to get there but there it is, the call to adventure. Even with the pacing being a tad slow, there’s been plenty of engagement and action to go along with the intrigue. I’m locked in on this book right now and feel the setup, something modern books should spend more time on, has allowed the world to breathe.
