All that energy is killing the pace of the book and making it hard to appreciate it as a romance. All signs indicate that we're hurdling toward a breakup and a not-so-HEA.

I debated moving into book two of this series taking a break to read something else.
Ultimately decided it'd be too hard to.bring myself back to these books. It's now or never and since the goal of BOUGHT IT & FORGOT IT is to read what I own, never isn't really an option.
Upside, book two is sixty pages shorter than book one!
