In the chapters operator and golden goose, mass continuously performs outrageous financial maneuvers to get himself and SoftBank out of trouble. Grandeur aside, Masa’s ability to do this was solely on his vision and his connections.

The book so far has detailed in depth, Masa’s early life. The art of myth making is an essential skill for most of the ultra wealthy so that it seems that the odds that they overcame seem implausibly within reach. However, the author does well breaking apart the myth of Masa and lets us choose between Masa’s reality and those who he stepped on.
