The doctor said it’s because I have anxiety about Grace being pregnant, which is the biggest load of bullshit I’ve ever heard. I say it’s because I love her so much that she’s ingrained in my soul and we’re in complete sync with each other.”

Knowing it’s a trigger for her, I give her a warning, “I’m going to hold you from behind.”

“I trust you.”

“Thank you, Grace. That means a lot to me.”

“I check through my walk-in closet and pull out a gray shirt that will match Grace’s eyes.”

“No one has ever made me feel the way you do, and no one will. There’s only you, Grace.” “You’re a masterpiece that was made just for me.”

“Staring at my beautiful wife, I can’t believe someone so perfect belongs to me.”

“Who would’ve thought that things would turn out this way? Me, the man who didn’t give a shit about having a family, wanting one with Grace. It just took the right woman to cross my path.”

“You said you want children,”

“Yes.”

“I can’t wait to have you pregnant with our child, Grace.”

“Thank you for trying so hard to make this marriage work. I know I forced you, but I did it because you deserved so much better, and I couldn’t leave you in Ireland. I wanted you here with me where you could heal, and nothing could hurt you again.”
