Yay! I finally finished this excellent book. I feel like I was transported back in history alongside this good man. What a wonderful, amazing life. Also, McCullough not only is a fabulous writer of history, but he did an epic job with this story. Well done! A++
I’ll need time to digest before I write a real review.

This is such a well written biography and history of an intriguing people and time. I want to devour it, but time is my problem.
