Just read a great, oddly funny scene. Agent Cruz saves a teenage girl hitchhiker from a long haul trucker. Undoubtedly gains fame in the small town he's in, seeking clues. I smiled and privately cheered for him.

I like it. Good characters, set in Minnesota. In winter. Which, if you've seen weather reports, is almost—almost truly—a 180-degree turn from Minnesota today. In any case, the story is pulling me along.
