Luke’s dialogue when with his parents still feels stilted and off to me, just as it did in 2019–truly some of King’s worst writing, IMO. “Middle class to the bone”… “mamacita”…. shivers. Is Luke supposed to come off as an arrogant prick at first? Is that his arc?
