Maybe this is the year I’ll make it to the end again. We only do books 1-10 for honors seminar but I’m on an indulgent kick of reading stuff unabridged this semester when time permits.

I know I’m not supposed to like Augustine but man I love the Confessions. This translation is new to me and particularly beautiful. I might even read the last three books this time even though we’re not doing them in class.
