Rereading this because I didn’t really understand the praise of this play, but I’m halfway through and I still don’t really get it.

Are my expectations too high? Do I have to read/watch “Hamnet” to understand the Bard’s life at that time?

I’m realising that I love a good Shakespeare soliloquy… because the one in Act II Scene 2 is ✨
