Don't get me wrong, I love Mark Twain and his writing, but I feel that it's best suited to short stories. Funny stuff is best in moderation, not in 450 pages. But I should also read it in instalments, the only problem is that I got it from the library.

I spent so much time with this book that I forget it's not mine. It's such a beautiful, old weathered copy. I wish it WAS mine, but I'd literally never steal from a library, the best institution.

I am loving it SO MUCH. After the disappointment that was Mary Stewart, this is making me so happy. Mark Twain is such a chad for everything he disses.
