I had to search for who is Prophet Jeremiah to understand what is going on in the novel
So in brief, Jeremiah (or Armyaa in Arabic) was one of the major prophets of the Hebrew Bible also called the "Weeping prophet".
He is from the house of Jacob (El-Naby Yaaqob) and he came after David & Solomon (El-Naby Dawod, El-Naby Soliman) The Qur'an didn't tell his story but he perhabs was mentioned in Hadith.
