1 began by reading a passage from the Bible. Sometimes we worked our way through the whole Bible, but often I read a Proverb for the day. If it was October 8, we read Proverbs 8. I do not think you can read Proverbs too often. Just be careful, Mom, not to try and drive every lesson home, which is one of the biggest dangers of Morning Time. Let the Holy Spirit work on your children as you put truth before them.

My philosophy has always been that my job, since I am not the Holy Spirit, is to give the children lots of hooks in their hearts so that when the Holy Spirit is working on them, he will have something to bring to their remembrance.
