I find that this story is very entertaining, but that a lot of the things that drive the plot (character relationships, dialogue, etc) are not very well connected. Sometimes a character will say something and it will be completely out of left field, making it very hard to get to know the characters. I also think that introducing scenes is not a strong suit.
