Didn’t go into this book knowing much but the musical. Things that are different:
- elphabas “dad” is religious/ missionary
- goat dr dillamond being murdered
- nessarose missing arms and relying heavily on nanny
-elphaba and nessarose had little brother (shell) and their mom died during that child birth

Character development is interesting, a lot I’ve had to re-read because it’s written odd. But so far now that there are familiar characters and at Shiz it has come together more than
