My reaction to this essay: GOSH FRICKEN YES! x1000!! This literally speaks about whats been on my mind that I wish people would fricken understand but I’m gonna save my tangent for the comment section under this cuz this has a word limit so here’s some quotes instead:
“Life isn’t logical.” !!!
“People who waste their lives search for reasons to love rather than ways to love”
I have no more room-

“Truly coming to peace with anything is to be able to say: thank you for that experience.”
Last 2 essays were very interesting. Truthfully got a bit lazy and didn’t pick up this book for a lil bit and I think it triggered my current bad luck , cuz my peace is being disturbed by crazy ppl (thieves and hackers all in the span of 2 weeks😭 I’m so tired. Idek how to adult , I’m just a 22 year old child).

Hitting hard from the get go but I LOVED it
“Why we shouldn’t seek comfort
1) Your brain can't differentiate "good" from "bad"; it only knows comfortable and uncomfortable. It's why we do things we objectively know are bad for us and confuse them
for feeling good.
2) you don’t know what you want; you want what you’ve known. Rather than trying to seek better, we seek the best of what we’ve known […]”
