Present day, It is found out on the news that Tim's ex girlfriend is found missing. Tim starts acting strange and abruptly leaves Brooke's house after making an excuse. 11 years earlier, as Brooke and Chelsea are stuck in a room together, they start to theorize who the killer could be and they slowly start turning on each other.

Present day Brooke confronts officer hunt for not telling her he went to high school with her and what Shane did to him. She tells him to lay off Shane.

we find out Tim still has feelings for Brooke and Brooke starts to have feelings for Tim in present day. Josh starts to question whether Tim is his dad and Brooke disappoints him by denying this. 11 years earlier Tim starts trying to convince Brooke that Shane is the killer. As they go upstairs to check on Kayla they find her lifeless body covered in blood in her room.

11 years earlier it gets less rowdy as it gets later in the night. The power goes out and everyone heads to bed. Brooke and Shane get their alone time in his room. Present day Brooke has to remove Shane's stitches which she isn't dreading as much as I expected. She even starts to gain a soft spot for Shane again despite their dark past. Officer Hunt shows his attraction to Brooke.

In present day at work, Brooke stitches up her ex boyfriend Shane and they have some awkward small talk where she almost reveals that her son Josh is Shane's son. Brook also goes and gets drinks with Tim and her waitress is a girl from high school who went out with Tim. 11 years earlier their game of would you rather starts to go hostile when it's revealed Tim went on a date with Tracy Gifford (Who died)

In the 11 years earlier chapters Brooke, Shane (her boyfriend), Chelsea (her best friend), Tim (Brookes childhood best friend), and Kayla and Brandon all arrive at Shane's farmhouse when his parents leave. We find out that Shane and Tim aren't very fond of each other. In the present day chapters, to Brooke's horror Shane Nelson arrived to her office to get stitches for an injury.

Brooke takes her 5th grade son Josh to school for his first day. They are settling in back to Brooke's old town. Shortly after leaving the school she comes across her old friend Tim who now is the assistant principal at the school. Brooke just got a job at a maximum security prison where she is a nurse. We soon find out her ex boyfriend is an inmate there.
