“I can’t. Your stinger is in the way,” she snapped.

She would have scrambled from atop me, but I pushed off from the ground to hover about six feet from the earth. Her legs dangled over either side of my body, and her hands tightened on my shoulders as she righted herself to keep from crushing my ribs.

OH my. The vampires not only fly - the HOVER. Not having much luck with google images on that one...

“I know. It’s not your fault. I’m a vampire. Women are naturally drawn to me.”

He brought my fingers to his mouth and sucked at the tips where I was certain he could taste the slick juices from my sex.

For that split moment, fear found me. I’d never lain with a man before. And he wasn’t just a man. He was a vampire.
