How are you liking this strange read?

I liked the first act, second one started slowly but got interesting. I haven't read books before that had such a sexual content, but somehow I couldn't stop reading, somehow I was absorbed.

definitely! their culture is really interesting to me

Watching a couple of interviews with the author, it was mentioned that the reason she was also so successful in the west, was that she stayed approachable, just 'western enough' for readers unused to 'eastern' (is what they call it, though technically...nvm) mysticism and absurdity.
