I agree. It also seemed like some scenes were straight from "She's the Man" with Amanda Bynes as well.

Well yes! I would, cuz I agree with Emily there. Some things are directly taken from She's the man. I actually thought this book was the basis for that movie for a second, til I realized this one is kinda new.
