This book is becoming a drag to finish. IT IS SO SAD, I also work a lot, so when I get home I'm too tired and not in the mood to read an incredibly sad book. Also, I hate to say it, repetitive af. The main character is so self deprecating and his CONSTANTLY self harming, the book goes into great detail about his thought process while doing so and its just a lot.. It feels like every other page hes hurting himself.

this book is so. damn. sad. many times ive wanted to slam the book shut because some parts are, just so self deprecating! i mean i was looking for a sad book to read & i sure got it. i just wished i knew HOW fucked up this book would be before hand. (i went in basically blind besides having read. the back) its crazy to me though how upsetting it is and im only at the half way point.

I have a feeling I’m going to become OBSESSED with this book. I already am getting attached to some characters after chapter 1. I can tell this book is gonna be sad.
