Why is Captain Grimm married to a girl similar to Gwen? Why? :(

The most satisfying chapter is chapter 20. Before that chap, things were all over the place. For me, chapter one to nineteen could have been shortened in half. It only sets people before the actual journey. These chap explain and expose which character you like and which one you can't wait to die. So far, I like 4 characters: Captain Grimm (duh) Bridget, Creedy, and Benedict. Gwen should die.

I didn't like the fact we had to see Ferus and Folly's point of view. They are not interesting characters to me. I think focusing on Gwen, Bridget, Benedict, and Grimm would have been enough. And crying out loud, stop with the blasphemy! I may not read the second book (if there's any) just for that.

I feel like I should get a red pen and cross out all the "In Heaven" parts of the book. It's getting really annoying.
