I have now read about the Allies, Nazi Germany, the Soviets and am nearly through reading about teh Polish Resistance. The detail is interesting, provocative, disturbing and disappointing i its truthtelling. Reading in retrospect, it is a bit frightening to see what led to 50+ years of occupation and oppression in Poland.

I am finally finished with teh preface and first chapter, The Allied Coalition. This is some shocking and disturbing reading about Poland, the UK, the USA, the USSR and Germany. I am now beginning the second chapter, The German Occupation. Norman Davis has done a magnificent job of research.
