I really like how Peter doesn't "feel" like a main character in this novel. Too many times writers depict a world where side characters seem to have no lives of their own and revolve solely around the MC, but here Peter stands equally in a line with other characters with depth, their own histories and problems. A refreshing feeling after reading some comics that want to make Peter the most specialest boy ever
