Honestly, if a book is this much of a mess AFTER editing then someone at Penguin isn’t doing their job. The plot holds as much water as a sieve and the characters are an entirely moveable feast.

The kindest thing I can say about this book is that it’s childish. And as allegories go, it’s like getting smashed over the head with a massive LGBTQIA+ sponge hammer.
