Of course I LOVE Linneus and Xanthe. Especially the backstory cells where they are kids. It is SO adorable. Um, I don't like Axis. He's a bit too crude for me. And his feet are dirty - HA! The new pirate looking guy who just paid for LInneus. He's interesting. Seems nice. So the last cell (view spoiler)[Xanthe was putting a ring on, right? So he's married? That makes me hate him. You know how I am. Don't fuck with my boys. (hide spoiler)]

I'm not sure if I like Reed yet. Rory is so sweet and Reed is a little cold. I do like how Rhys' sister came to the teahouse and who she went off with. Very interesting.

hehe, we have a Teahouse thread in group too. Most people are all about Gilder for Linneus and they love Rhys. I think Axis is dirty too, but him and Rhys sort of remind me of Ty/Zane.

Linneus and Xanthe are my favorite though. We talk a bit in group about what we think is happening too. I think that the (view spoiler)["marriage" (hide spoiler)] was either the catalyst for Linneus' employment at the brothel or something. Something big went down when he was 18 and Xanthe was 20 b/c that's when Linneus said for the last 8 years he wondered if Xanthe only saw him as a whore. I"m not sure if his employment came first or Xanthe's (view spoiler)[marriage (hide spoiler)]

Oh, and the creator's of comic said that Linneus and Xanthe will be a slow build and burn but the main focus will be them. That just makes me all kinds of happy.

if it works out then okay. But I hate it when the character is married because it's a huge FU to the wife. No one ever cares how the wife feels. I love it so far though. I just wish I started reading it when it was totally done!!!

Well, they plan on having 20 chapters and they usually release about 2 chapters a year so lmao have fun with that one. 4th chapter is starting up in January. Ugh, longest soap opera ever.

lol that's exactly what I told Chamilia when I first started reading this manga.....at this rate...they won't make much money on the manga. In fact, they probably lost a lot of fans. Too slow, people forgot after a while.

Chapter 3 just finished. Did you mean Chapter 4 Ares? And, yeppp, its 20 Chapters total, but 16 of those deal with the main characters. The other 4 will focus on the side characters.

I'll just keep it on my currently reading shelf to remind me to check in periodically. Hopefully that will keep me from forgetting!

Well, its every Wednesday but regardless I'm sure on your updates feed you'll see people discussing it. I"m hoping they have more fan appreciation months like they did this one b/c those 2 pages a week really helped. We still get 2 this week, but then its back to only on Wednesdays starting in Jan. It just takes them so long to do one page. It takes 18 hours for EACH of them so 36 hours a week is a lot as a second job.

They are so slow, it's like freaking time vortex. A single day pass in that comic, a whole 2 month pass in the real world.

Well maybe their art will become really successful and they can make this their full time job. One can always hope!

Agh....I think they cannot compete with the yaoi community in japan, even if their art is so detailed and colorful. Sometimes it's really not all that important how detail the pictures are, the story has become very important too. Yaoi gets pumped out by japanese mangaka 1 chapter per week.

Well I've been wanting to check out more Yaoi books anyway. Right now I can't make an informed opinion so I'll take your word for it. You can always send me recs for any that you particularly like. :))))

I don't mind when some of the pages are just black and white sketches with a few fully colored and detailed ones thrown in on occasion, but I guess it's their art so they are going to do it the way they want. *sigh*

I really like the colorful illustrations too. I think that's one of the reasons I like this one so much!
