i really don’t know how to feel about this book. understand that love and lust is messy and not supposed to be this pure thing but a few of the things talked about is too far, stuff like this doesn’t faze me but when it’s casually talking of unashamed incest that’s what bothers me. talking about it as though it’s a normally everyday thought is so wrong and how Miranda harbors the memory is very weird to me

i like how poetic it is and the philosophical aspect to it but i have to say i dislike Sami. i don’t like how he talks of and stereotypes women when he’s talking to or thinking of Miranda. it bothers me.
