When kids go missing you always think about how it effects the parents. I'd never given a lot of thought to how it would effect their siblings. Two year old Christine Gordon after many weeks said "Kirstie's gone mum, hasn't she" and it struck me that it would be so hard for the siblings left behind, especially ones as young as 2 that would have trouble understanding the situation.
