Zoe > Status Update

It takes my mind off things and transport me to magical worlds. I can live vicariously through other characters in my (imo) mundane life.

Characters are so different and plots are highly exciting.

But most of all, reading let’s me visualize things and create impossible realities, weaving these tales in my head through simply imagination

It distracts me from what hurts, makes me sad, or discourages me in real life. Reading is an escape for me. It is also a comfort. Especially if I want it to feel like summer- I’ll read a summer rom com 🥰😝

I love reading because it is an escape. It lets me get out of my own head and into someone else’s. I get to live a new life. I get to escape this world and go to another

I love reading because it’s like I’m making a new friend. Characters are so real and detailed. I love them like I would a best friend.

It’s like sharing love and life with characters. It lifts u up when you’re down. Inspires you when you feel like giving up. And just reminds you your not alone 🤗
