We’re back! Maybe you thought I gave up? Well I did not! Finished Judges, and basically, “in those times there was no king in Israel; everyone did what was right in his own eyes.” Many different stories about men from the Israelites. About judges (since there were no kings) people blessed by the lord different battles etc

Finished Book of Joshua, haven’t been reading in awhile. Energy and morale at an all time low, getting back to it slowly but surely. Onto Judges.

Finished Deuteronomy! Morale has been low, but we’re back at it. Moses basically summarizes all the laws he got from God throughout Exodus/Leviticus/Numbers. Not sure why I was surprised when Moses died but I was, lol. I’m gonna miss him :( anyway onto the Book of Joshua!

Finished Numbers!!! This required some discipline as it’s extremely redundant for clarity purposes. Starts with a census of the Israelites for an army, then roles of the tribes regarding the tent of meeting, ceremonial/camp law, the Israelites complain to Moses multiple times, then they start on a journey out of Egypt to the land of Canaan, they win all battles with neighboring nations. My fav story is with Balaam

Up to Numbers chapter 19. It’s no longer fun, I had a 30 day streak but it has been broken because it’s really tough and boring

Finished Leviticus. Even more difficult to get through. Ceremonial laws for the Israelites. Onto Numbers!

Just finished Exodus. Reading about the tabernacle/altars/lamps/tent/vestments was super tough, more tough than the chronicles in genesis. Onto Leviticus!

Started Book of Job after Genesis, currently up to chapter 35.

Finished Genesis!
