I actually had to go back and re-read the chapter where the killer was confessing because I was sure I was missing information. The information was later revealed in the final chapter.
I also don’t understand the need to include the Rocco brothers construction. Felt like a wild goose chase that wasn’t needed.

Thought this was the last in the series but nothing of note. Gemma’s website says she’s working on a new high heels novel. Though I think soon she should hang up Maddie’s detective heels. The storylines are all redundant: crime, tries talking her family and friends out of investigating; never works on her shoe lines; life is threatened; caught alone with murderer; contention & end chapter to ties everything up
