Not 100% sure about this book. A lot of things happening. Must suspend any reality. Characters are OTT. Heroine is almost TSTL - it’s anyone’s guess how I will feel by the end…

And the author has created a strong female MC who isn’t parading around society husband hunting, which is a bonus along with a besotted Duke who is very naughty!! 🔥🔥

Now to see how the author wraps this bad boy up…

This book is humorous and I am loving the sexual tension.

My hope is George will beg off and leave the picture. He does not strike me as being the slightest interested in Miss Parrish…

Won’t be finishing. Stories lacked depth and emotion which is a must have for me…just didn’t click.

At 49% and I wonder just how much longer our two MCs are going to be able to avoid the burning desire building between them 😍

I am trying really hard not to DNF this book. Something about it is not holding my attention and I keep falling asleep reading.

Welp!! Persephone and her tea are back!!!

No stolen kisses thus far, no romance to speak of yet. More than half the book has been spent on social etiquette and the strange behaviors of The Ton - seriously if people behaved like this I am amazed the human population didn’t die out from stupidity!!!

A very slow burn with underlying emotional angst and previous hurt for both the H/h - a lot of inner dialogue and I am beginning to wonder if these two will ever make it to Ian’s castle.
