Everything hurtsssss. Something about this hurts from the beginning more than The Foxhole Court cause I feel Neil was surrounded by people who had survived terrible things, there was comfort in knowing people around him understood him. But watching Jean navigate a totally new world totally alone around people who don't and won't ever "get" him...and maybe that's the fresh pov he needed but I'm miserable and angry.
