Finished book 1, which was 4 Stars. Listening to other things for a change of pace.

Sylvia is being a bit of a slog. Probably having more to do with my limited time to read. Almost every chapter has me saying…”Say what!?!” And quickly turning the page. There is humor to be found abound, but it’s s a gentle, subtle humor; not laugh out loud funny.

Putting this on hold until after the holidays. This is more drama then I want in my pre-Christmas reading. Off to find a fluffy Christmas romance instead.

I will be so happy when this Bedarte arc is finished.

Read this 2nd book in the series before the first book. Now rereading it in the proper order.

Sad dog story, with unlikeable characters. Even ambivalent about the dog. May not finish it. =(

Hard to tell page numbers in an audio book. I'm about half way through.
