Dispatches from the cradle by Ken Liu: The deepest ocean story in the collection. Poignant, with great characters and a solid message. Very well done!

Full Circle by Rosa Walker: great main character and another fun concept. This one left me wanting more.

Girt By Sea by S. Elliot Brandis: A well written and well paced story. Great characters and a fantastic concept. I really enjoyed this one.

Turtle: An A.L.I.V.E. Story by R.D. Brady: A cool concept with a lot of feeling to it. The aliens were great, and I thoroughly enjoyed reading this. I will definitely be looking for more in the series.

New Year's Eve by Joshua Engle: A beautiful story with a touching message of hope. New Year's Eve is kind of a what-if story that explores what could be if humans focused on saving the oceans. Very good story.

Aquagenic by Will Swardstrom: Wonderful characters and a very cool premise. This is my favorite story so far, and I really enjoyed the depth of emotion and personality that defined the story and its characters. Very well done!

The Hunt for the Vigilant by Alex Shvartsman: Another very interesting premise with shades of Dr. Strange and another author, Rick Cook, whom I read when I was younger. It seems that magic can be written like computer code, which places a programmer in an interesting predicament. A fun read and I'll be checking out the Coffee Corps.

Siren Song of the Mississippi Queen by Hank Garner: a very relatable and fun to read short story. As I was desiring some adventure, Garner delivered, and left me wanting more. Did she find it?

Dancing in the Midnight Ocean by Caroline M Yoachim: A tale of mutant mer-folk and love that overcomes all. Well written and a spectacular bit of world-building. I'd be interested in reading more from this universe.
