It’s pretty good. I love Rysn, who doesn’t adore The Lopen, and the lore is keeping me engaged. I just can’t judge it as a Stormlight book because it’s not that, it’s just good.

Part 3 is probably my favorite middle section of any of these books still, seeing Vivenna again is amazing, I love Szeth and Nightblood, I love the lore with Shadesmar. But man, part 4 is still a major blow to the pacing.

The character work is still great. The politicking is good but not as good as Well of Ascension. The action is fantastic. THE LOOOOOOOORE is the best part so far. Everything individually is adding up to be fantastic, but it doesn’t feel like the final part of a trilogy yet, there’s so much going on and none of it feels like it’s building to the climax of the trilogy.

Well I’m deep into the Sanderlanche. It’s amazing and so sad
