Second story really is a bit more... Exhausting but idk there's something about Salinger's writing that's pulling me in, kinda sassy and snarky. It gets to be a little much at times but all in all still fun.

"Franny" was quite enjoyable and fun, now for "Zooey" which has had some... mediocre reviews but so far I like it. The pacing is a little off maybe, but I cannot get over funny little lines like, on p. 62: "Granted I'm off today. I keep a good neurotic's calender..."

Only on page 12 and unable to deal with Lane's bullshit - and almost crying with laughter at sentences like "..., Lane said, very closely following the trend of his own conversation" or "Apparently her [Fanny's] self-imposed sentence of unadulterated good-listenership had been fully served." Or, on p 13, "After the interruption of the olive..."
