I know people love this book but I’m almost done and it’s just a weak meh for me. For the subject matter there is no depth to anyone … maybe the priest was a rounded character, maybe.

The set up for this is very interesting, I have a few running theories!

This is a collection of short stories and as usual some are much stronger than others but it’s a good read so far.

Oh my goodness, I’m about to DNF this thing!

This reading experience has been puzzling. I’m usually very into historical fiction, specifically the books that are well researched, but I guess this is so removed from what I’ve studied that I’m having a hard time caring.

Oops! Started this by mistake and made it to 10% before realizing that this is book three. I’m going to pause this until I finish book two.

Grabbed this from Libby because I need a number for my A-Z challenge. I know nothing about this author or the plot!
Let’s see if I can finish this before the year is over.

I picked this because it was the only Q book available on Libby, which I need for my alphabet challenge.
I’m not sure I’ll finish this, it’s light hearted but also boring. My goodness our main character is DESPERATE to find a man, anyone without a ring would do! 🤣

There are so many places where I want to stop and just think on a sentence, this is so beautifully written!
I will buy a physical copy of this 💕

Immigrant stories are so close to my heart. This one started out strong. I’m reading this without any knowledge of plot or setting as it was a library suggestion. So far good!
