So far, good!! I don’t know a ton about tennis so I feel a little bit of a learning curve there but she does a good job of explaining it in context to the story which I’m thankful for!!! Excited to see where it goes since I feel like I just got through the majority of the exposition and am getting into the meat of it!

Just over halfway through and I am in love with this book!!!!!!! The main character has my heart, you can’t help but root for her!! Looking forward to the second half!!

Love this so far! I was worried about the translations making it difficult to read but it’s not at all! Well written and entertaining !!!!

Okay I just got VERY interested in this book ??? The chapter I just read got me INTRIGUED in the story. Up until now I would say I was vaguely interested but now??? Can’t wait to read more 👀

So far, I’m interested in the book/characters!!! The chapters are long though which isn’t my fav and there are some cultural references/dialect things that I’ve been researching in parts since it takes place in Scotland, lol. BUT so far would rate highly, curious to see where it goes!

FINALLY getting to read this!! Just as shocking as everyone says, I can’t believe it’s NOT fiction!!!

Plan to finish today but so far LOVE!!!! Love the characters, the story is face paced and interesting, AND I’m engaged with where the heck the story is going. All you can ask for in a fiction, I think! Will be reading more by her in the future!!

Her writing style is so engaging and her story is so interesting and simultaneously heartbreaking !! I am having a hard time putting it down!

Ok I loved Handmaids Tale, too, but I was expecting this to be a true “second” in series book but I’m happy to report it reads as a stand-alone, too!! Even having read these after watching the show, they are still GREAT novels. I think I’ll read more Atwood after this but for now, 5/5. Eager to see how it wraps up in the last quarter!

Ok I literally just started this and I’m only one chapter in but I am INTERESTED !!!!! I was surprised how fast this hooked me 👀 hopefully it’s all up from here !

I’m going soooo slow through the end of this… I don’t know if it’s self sabotage and I’m subconsciously avoiding finishing the series or if I’m just not as into the story BUT alas, slowly but surely.

I’m loving this book! His storytelling is so good and I find myself laughing out loud at some of the things he says. I’m getting through it slowly but not because of the book itself, mainly because I’m reading the hard cover physical copy and I rarely have two hands free to read it, hah!
