I’m (finally) invested in the plot

At the end of the day I hate how in this very high fantasy realm, Maas has still decided that women (sorry…females) are the inferior sex, to the point of buying/selling them, mutilation and coveting their virginity. I’m actually so sick of these plot lines and the fact that THIS WASNT PART OF THE FIRST BOOK is the most irritating. Also still hate the words female/male

Once again Feyre has put Rhys above her sisters & doesn’t see them as people themselves, just as helpless beings who would’ve died without her. I seriously can’t stand her

So Feryre’s allowed to be selfish, to stop fighting, to go run off to be with whatever man she wants to be with but when Nesta does it it’s a problem?? I think Feyre forgets her sisters are/were kids too and unlike Katniss forgiving her mother Feyres decided that she’s right and Nesta is wrong no matter what. She’s literally so rude

I love that feyre is complaining that no one in spring court understands her struggles (she’s right) but is like “oh everyone in night court understands what I’ve been through and what it’s like to be hungry (they do but also that doesn’t mean she understands them) ((they’re literally 500+ years old))

So far
1) isn’t Feyre supposed to be a strong female character? I feel like she’s not being that at all rn
2) once again we’re not telling her jack shit, which I think has to do with my third point
3) (this is my biggest problem with this book and I think will continue to be) I don’t think Maas thinks her world/plot/characters through all the way, leaving things disconnected.
