Aedion is being such an asshole to Lynsadra!!! Ugh I hate it!!! He shouldn’t be treating her like this. I want to smack him. Lysandra is so good. I hated her in the beginning of Throne of Glass and I still didn’t trust her when she wanted to be friends with Celaena..but god she is so fierce and loyal and protective and I love her character and development. For now Aedion is on my shit list.

I’m enjoying this more than I thought. I’m interested to see what direction Chaol and Yrene go. Personally I think they’ll end up together. I never really felt the chemistry with Chaol and Nesryn. And I for sure know Nesryn ends up with Sartaq.

I’ve finally gotten to the part where Lazlo gets to go to Weep! I knew he was going, but I wasn’t sure how he was going to get himself to go. I’m honestly wondering if Thyon stays an asshole. I despise that guy. I hope Lazlo exposes him. If it wasn’t for Lazlo, Thyon wouldn’t have figured out how to make gold. I’m just happy Lazlo plucked up the courage to make his dream come true.

So far, I’m not liking Thyon. While I did feel bad for him when his dad beat him, he is an asshole. It pisses me off that he’s taking credit for Lazlo’s work. Like he couldn’t even say thank you for Lazlo giving him the Miracles for Breakfast book?? And then made him promise not to speak about it ever again? And now he wants to steal Lazlo’s books and dreams. I’m just so disliking Thyon rn.

I just finished Chapter 1. I’ll be reading this book slower than I normally read. I want to immerse myself and comprehend every word and sentence. I’ve heard this book is poetic and whimsical and meant to be absorbed slowly because of its magical writing style. I started it quite late. It’s 11:10 pm now. I’m falling asleep, that’s why I’ve stopped at page 10. Im excited to read some more. :)

I have about 60 pages left of Bloodnof Elves!!! I WILL finish it in the next hour. I’m thinking of starting the first book of The Wheel of Time series. 🙈 should I????

The last like 20 pages have been sooo boring.

Everyone was right about this being a slow burner. I have to tell myself to slow down and take my time so I can enjoy the story in its entirety. So far I’m captivated. The more I read, the more my anxiety spikes, both yearning to know what happens and frightened of what’s about to happen next.

This is my second Stephen King book, but my first one was 11/22/63, so this is my first CLASSIC Stephen King book. I’m a little nervous because I don’t normally like horror stories, but I’m gonna give it a go anyways. Wish me luck, I heard this is good one!
