A very easy read. Short "chapters". The mix of pro wrestling and self-help is unique but quickly becomes repetitive. Plenty of motivational quotes that could/can be use(d) for Instagram :D

Decided to pick this up after a few years sitting on my shelf.

I’m enjoying the interviewing style that Reid goes for in this book. Although some of the lesser featured characters don’t show enough personality in this format.

Nevertheless, Reid paints detailed pictures on the main characters, allowing you to feel sympathy and annoyed towards them.

In terms of downfall, the narrative tows the line of usual rock n’ roll story traits.

I didn't really enjoy the first couple of chapters. I felt the author was being braggadocious about his life as a rock music writer, which he reminds the reader several times. However, I now feel sympathy for the writer as he suffers with mental health issues.

I was intrigued by the concept of this but I’m struggling with it so far. I find Dick’s style jarring to read.
