I barely remember anything from the first book and the summary I just read didn't help as much as I thought it would

I have once again been pressured by the hype it's ridiculous

I haven't read a dystopian in so long, it's always been one of my favourite genres

But now I find that everything is too easy to imagine, when destruction and death is described my brain supplies clear pictures, it's no longer a vague concept but a real reflection of something that is happening/has happened

It allows no escapism that we had in childhood which makes sense of course

These characters are not sane, they're out of their minds and they have me in a chokehold

What if a book that comes out in 2025 sits on my top books of 2024 list huh what happens then

I'm so obsessed the writing is gorgeous and the characters omg
