Three chapters into the audiobook.

About an hour and a half into the audiobook.

It's cute and informative, but we've got leaf cutter ants (New World species) with chameleons (Old World species). :(

I really appreciate the chapter synopses, since this is a dry technical tome.
Also, black vultures will roll coconuts out onto roads so cars can run them over and open them up for consumption. DIY vegan roadkill.

This is not an introduction to the group for the casual birder/reader (well, maybe the pictures). This is a 'let's discuss plumage convergence between species' (actual section) book for those who want a deep dive.

Only a couple pages into chapter 1, and I've already learned that date palms no longer exist in a wild state/species; they're all domesticated. Interesting parallel to dromedary camels, which are from the same geographical region.

God forbid women do anything.
