Starr went to the police station to make her statement

Jane and Michael lose their most recently nanny and mr and Mrs banks need to find them another one. Mary Poppins arrives and becomes the new nanny. She’s a bit different. With interesting medicine and a fancy carpet bag. She goes on a day out with Bert to a magical place in a drawing.

Starr goes to school. She’s a different Starr at school. She’s acts more like the in crowd. She dates Chris, a very rich white boy, but she likes him. She has white friends. She leaves school and meets Seven. They meet up with her mom.

Starr sees her friend and brothers step father. He tries to give her money. She refused. Starrs uncle visits and asks starr to give a statement. Starr and co visit Kahlils grandmother.

Starr is told as a child to be mindful of the police and follow strict rules. Back as a teen, her friend Khalil is stopped by the police and he didn’t follow the same
Rules. And gets shot by the police officer. Brief flashback of when Natasha died when Starr was 10.

Everyone starts their 10 years later stories. Jean expects post to be a thing of the past. Samuel pretty much agrees. John is happy to stay in touch with Esther and be like brothers with Nicholas. Nicholas writes about love to Juliette

We get introduced to Starr. Lives in Garden Heights but goes to the white school. She’s at a party, then a gun shot is fired, so escapes with her friend in his car. She talks to her friend about the bad decisions he’s making. He tells her to leave it.

Monologues

Jean explains to Samuel about her dog that she had, why she’s got rescued animals on her farm and her green foot. Samuel enjoyed his burlesque evening and talks about rally’s he goes too. John tells Nicholas he was very busy in Chicago. Everyone starts writing “dialogue “ to each other. Jean tells Samuel about a little boy she walks with. Samuel relays a conversation between him, Ben and Lou.

Samuel tells Jean about his regret. John tells Nicholas about not caring. Nicholas tells John that he wants to give it up and move away. Esther gives everyone set tasks to do with their letter writing.

Jean writes to Juliette about one of her students. Juliette wrote to Jean about her diagnosis. John speaks to Esther about no regrets. Esther responds and talks about her daughter and former husband. Nicholas writes to Juliette about her parents and their daughter. Juliette is a little better. Jean writes to Samuel about carrying on.

John tells Esther that he has a complicated relationship with money. Esther tells John about her father and the suicide and not understanding the relationship with money. Jean tells Samuel to read books.

Esther writes to John about her father and what triggered her anger. Her father was a teacher then a writer and when her mother died he became more bitter and eventually committed suicide. Nicholas writes to Juliette about not being understanding enough

Samuel replies to Jean about his lack of motivation. John tells Nicholas about his life and how he basically has no feelings. Nicholas tells John he needs to act better and get on with it while explaining about his wife.

Juliette explains to Jean about post partum depression. But not about her birth. Jean sends another letter to Samuel about what she does and why.

Letters flying across to everyone. Samuel replying to jean about his feelings. John, who travels a lot, writes to both Esther and Nicholas. Nicholas who is going through something with his wife replies and also writes to his wife. Jean writes to Juliette about what she noticed. Juliette explains how much she loves her career.

The first letter, from Jean to Samuel. She’s a lot older and she expresses this to him and how she felt he was disinterested in the meeting. She lives on her own in an original home and they want to take it to build bigger apartments but she won’t let them

Esther, an independent book shop owner puts out an ad to do a letter writing course. 6 people join.
