the tension between them because of their past, and the strong and beautiful friendship they have ?? amazing.
I had the feeling this book would be my favourite, and I was so damn right !!!

this as soon as much similarity with the windy city series, especially the right move. seriously “malakai”, “the dog name rosie” “Indy”, the roommate trope, here it’s not best friend’s brother but brother’s best friend, the way he sets up her pottery and his equipment (act of service). and it goes on and on with the details and i can’t unsee it. 😭

Reading this for a book club. And for now, I’m not really convinced. Because first of all, love triangle?! Sorry, but this is not my cup of tea. And I genuinely have a question. Why the prince is running after her in the first place. Because he said he wanted to meet her because she was brave enough to run away from a marriage he didn’t want either and that he was jealous not to be the one who ran away?????

I love the vibe, but I struggle to connect with the characters. I can’t put my fingers on what is missing, but I don’t feel as invested as much as I was with the chestnut spring series.
