Ohmigosh, this FINALLY picked up!

Trying to squeeze one last one before the year ends.

This weekend was brutal.
I've been studying for months to pass the exam for my licensure as a clinical therapist. Well, I failed it. CA's BBS is determined to make this an almost impossible test to pass on the first try. I'm back to square one, exhausted and feeling a bit defeated.

I'll try again sometime next year. I need to regroup and become human again. A test doesn't define me. I need books. I need friends.

I went to "vote" right now and I was so very sad to realize I was only able to vote in one category. I haven't read much this year, and I missed out on so many good books...sniff...sniff.

I think this will be in my list of favorite books. So real, but so funny!

I wish there was an English version to recommend it to my friends :/

One thing I hate is not reading series in order. I had to make an exception with this one since the movie is coming in the fall and I must watch Michael Fassbender as Harry. Briefly missing my long commute for this one.

Someone described this book as "empty calories but so tasty!" (or something like that), so I decided to give it a shot since I've been reading hefty stories lately.

Unless the end is totally whacked, I'm not sure why people are not liking this book. I can't put it down. Such an eerie atmosphere to it.
