This book is difficult and begs to be read in a very slow and meticulous manner. Han does not waste a sentence.

Going to read this for my Critical Theory course that I will be taking in the fall.

It’s an 8 part book and I’ve read through part 1 now. If you want to know my full honest thoughts and reactions, ask me in person. To keep it simple, I love this novel. Levin, I relate deeply. Stiva, oh how I have mixed feelings about you. Dolly I understand your behavior in your situation. Kitty, you will learn. Vronsky, hmmmm. Anna, I want to dislike you but I don’t think I fully can.

Chapter 18 = mind blown

It is time.

Was hooked after about 3 pages.

Reading this with my friend Austin! We are going to take it nice and slow. Gabe, my boss from the ranch last summer, highly recommended this series to me. Should be a goodie!

Finally picked it back up!

I was reading this last summer when I was on the ranch. When I left the ranch, I forgot to finish it. It’s epic so I decided I needed to finish it.

The chapter on Reason and Passion was a goodie.

Instead of asking people what they want in life, try asking them what they are willing to suffer for in life.
