This book makes me feel like I’m 5yo sitting on my granddaddy’s porch smelling his pipe and listening to his “olden days” stories. I love it.

I can tell that my opinion of this book is going to vary wildly essay to essay.

I’m not going to finish “Lapsing into a Comma” by Bill Walsh. He is a strong proponent of prescriptive grammar which wouldn’t be a problem except that his attitude is abrasive & condescending. I’m also not sure who the target audience is for this book. It’s not funny enough to just read for entertainment and it’s too fluffy to keep as a desk reference style guide. 🤷🏻‍♀️

This author is hilarious. I’m forcing everyone to listen to snippets. 🤣

I didn’t finish reading “Savor” by Thich Nhat Hanh.
“The Mindfulness-Based Eating Solution” by Lynn Rossy is more helpful and contains a lot less Buddha yadda yadda.
