Bruno and Gretel discovered that there is a mysterious building with a lot of people in it outside of Bruno's window. They have not realized this yet, but am inferring that this building is a work camp. Niether of them like it in there new house, and they wished that they had stayed in Berlin. However it seems like they will not be leaving anytime soon.

As they are setting up the tunnels and bombs for their fight with Steelheart I realized just how unfair it is t them. They are a 5 person group going up against 3 insanely powerful epics, and a squad of enforcement troops. All of this planning could be just a waste of time in the end if they don't succeed. I don't know if any amount of planning can help them in this fight which which will decide the fate of the group

When they were interrogating Conflux I was surprised at how friendly he was. He seemed really nice and like a person I would like to hang out with. this was especially odd because most epics are arrogant and rude, but he is the exact opposite. I wonder if he will join their team to fight against Steelheart. If he does, it would be cool to see if they would collaborate well with an epic.

Today in my book, Cody showed a side of him that I had never seen before. He was making jokes with David during the mission, and I had never even seen him make a joke, much less on a mission. I think he might have done this because sometimes when people are nervous they might laugh or make a joke to be less stressed. However, no one else seemed nervous which might mean that Cody could be a weak link.

In my book today I was very surprised by David. When they were at the weapons dealer nightweilder showed up and he was not scared. He was even talking to him pretending to be diamond assistant. I had never seen him be so brave, and that really came out in this part of the book. even Abraham and Megan were impressed which shows he did a very good job. If he can be this brave in the future he will help the team a lot.

Today in my reading I was very surprised because for second I thought that Abraham was an epic. If he was an epic that would have changed the whole story but it turned out that it was just his jacket that was protecting him. Also, when they went to meet a weapons dealer in the steel catacombs, which was a very poor part of the city David was very surprised by the lack of security. that shows how poor they are.

In my reading today it showed a little bit of Cody's backstory, and I think there people's backstories will be revealed a little bit more. Also, when David was learning to use the tensors he showed how much determination to defeat steelheart. He persevered a lot throughout the story, and this was just another example that shows how motivated he is.

The Reckoners that David is Working with finally agreed to try to kill Steelheart. Davids plan had a lot of good aspects, and his years of research paid off for him. I think that he had research epics so much because he was motivated by the death of his dad which made him try so hard while researching.

While David was explaining his plan to kill Steelheart I realized how muck he really knew about epics. He was just as smart as the epic researchers he was explaining it to. However they do not trust him and don't think his plan will work so he will have to convince them somehow. I am excited to see if his plan will work, because if it does that will be a very cool scene.

In my book David who has devoted 10 years to studying epics finally joined the Reckoners. But he is still trying to fit in because he thinks that they don't trust him. I was very surprised that when they read through his research they were surprised because they are epic experts. I think that shows that he will begin to fit in with the Reckoners and become an important part of their team.

After David, Cody, and Megan completed the mission to retrieve David's life long notes on epics him and Cody seemed to be getting along very well. This makes me think they might become friends later in the book. However him and Megan seemed to be growing far apart which shows that as he loses Megan's friendship he will gain Cody's. I am excited to figure out how this plays out when I read next.

I was very surprised at what happened in my book today. First of all David was accepted into the Reckoners. He had to devoted all of his life to studying epics and it finally paid off. They went on a mission to retrieve all of his research from his apartment, where they run into government enforcement waiting for them. He was willing to put his life on the line for the mission which made me rethink his character.

I was glad that David got to join the Reckoners. They are a group that fights back against the government. He made a huge effort to help them kill an epic named fortuity. He did very well and they seemed to accept him. However I am not sure whether he will actually be in the group because the leader of the epics keeps giving him dirty looks. I am excited to find out what happens with David and the Reckoners.

In my book today it was revealed how David's father died, and I realized how horrible it would be to see your parent die right in front of you. I also thought about how hard it would be to live in the conditions that David is living in which is hollowed out dirt holes. David has it very rough and it made me grateful for what I have.

In my book today, I was very surprised at how brave the dad was to stand up to the epic. Epics are basically superheros, and he wasn't afraid of them which I thought was crazy. death point, an epic that had just went on a killing spree inside of a bank is clearly not worthy of having the powers of an epic. I think the only people that are worthy of these powers are the people that use them to do good.
